Art Est. Art School
Art Est. Art School and Gallery
School Holiday Art Program
Art Est. Art School and Gallery is Sydney’s dynamic creative hub for the visual arts. Located in a spacious, light-filled warehouse in inner west Leichhardt, at the artistic heart of the city, Art Est. is an inspiring art space with four dedicated teaching studios, artists’ studios and an art gallery.
For children aged five and over, school holidays mean lots of arty fun at Art Est. Nurture your child’s love of art and send them along to discover their own creative potential through the development of their technical and artistic skills in a fun learning environment.
Small class size
By keeping classes to a maximum of 12 students, participants receive individual attention that they wouldn’t normally receive in a school classroom environment. This encourages original thinking, creative problem solving, self-confidence and individual growth, both personally and academically.
Tutors are practising artists
Your child will be taught by practising artists and educators in a professional art studio which will thoroughly engage his or her mind. Participants explore art theory and practical exercises and the classes are structured to cater for all different ages. All classes are suitable for new and continuing students.
All inclusive fees
At Art Est., all materials used in class are included in the term and workshop fees.
Workshops are 3 hours duration with the morning session from 9.30am to 12.30pm and afternoon session from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Children can be enrolled in a single art class, a whole day or several sessions. At Art Est., every day is different and wonderful!
Children who are enrolled to participate in morning and afternoon sessions are welcome to stay all day and will be supervised throughout the lunch break. This may include a visit to Lambert Park Playground nearby so a hat and sunscreen are essential.
