Next Generation Dance Studio

Located in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, the Next Generation Dance Studio offers dance classes for boys and girls aged 2 through to adult. They inspire students to be the best they can be while learning that dance is about enjoyment, passion, commitment, dedication and love. At all times, safe dance practices are followed and students are encouraged to be independent and confident.

Winter Dance School

During the first week of the July school holidays, Next Generation Dance Studio conducts an “Annual Winter School”. Students attend for 5 days between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm. From professional dancers, they will learn many different dance genres including jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, funk and more. Each student will receive a Next Generation Winter School t-shirt.

Annual Winter School is open to all dancers from around Melbourne aged 7 and older. Classes are divided into Junior and Senior.

School holidays are a wonderful time to introduce your child to the beauty and fun of dance. Next Generation Dance Studio believes that performance is an extremely important part of growing and developing as a dancer. They put on mid-year and end of year performances for children aged 3 and above. All the children look forward to their performances and parents and extended family always adore going along to watch.

In addition to learning dance techniques, children benefit in a number of other ways including exercise, poise, balance, posture, friendship, teamwork, discipline and above all, having fun.
