Camp Blue has set itself apart in the school holidays activity market by providing a fun, dynamic and engaging program for all children, their personalities and interests. Based on the American Summer Camp Model where children are empowered to make their own decisions, Camp Blue provides up to 20 different activities at each camp, with campers doing five each day. The facilities are of high quality and, depending on which camp your child attends, could include indoor and outdoor courts, a 6-lane 25m heated indoor pool, drama studio, full commercial kitchen, the beach and multiple classrooms.
Child care rebate
As an accredited child care provider with the FAO, eligible parents are entitled to the CCB and CCR payments each camp.
Children can attend day or overnight camps. The Camp Blue experience is one that will stay with your child for a lifetime, with loads of positive memories to look back on, and skills to look forward to honing in the future. Manly Day Camp
Operating out of Stella Maris College each school holiday period, Camp Blue Manly is open for children in kindergarten through to year 9. This program will cater for both daily and weekly bookings for all groups. Activities can include: Art, Drama, Cooking, Basketball, Glee, Touch Football, Beach Games, Tennis and much more. The full week specialty program offers a choice of premium activities that your child can specialise in throughout the week. These can include: Golf, Skateboarding, Parkour, Musical Theatre, Street Dance, Spray Paint Art & Scootering. Specialty campers will also participate in two general camp activities in the afternoon.
North Sydney Day Camp
Camp Blue runs from the school grounds of Monte St Angelo Mercy College in North Sydney and operates through each school holiday period for a select number of weeks. It’s open for children from kindergarten through to year 9. The campers get to choose their program throughout the week and with a selection of up to 20 activities – and the campers can choose 5 – they’ll never be bored! Choose from 2, 3, 4 day or full week options. Experienced and qualified instructors teach each activity and make sure every child has fun. Activities include arts and crafts, chess, art/science/environment, book club/spelling bee, chess, creative writing, cooking, drama, physics & engineering, photography, Glee, dance, zumbatomic, aqua games, basketball, soccer, swimming, street dance, rock climbing, yoga, teen leadership, circus and magic, plus others.
Mini Blues Sport & Movement
What a brilliant way for little ones to get active. The Mini Blues program is aimed at youngsters from 2.5 to 5.5 years of age. They learn the fundamentals of sports through balance, jumping, striking and running and the instructors also ready them for school with listening skills, following instructions, teamwork, sharing and participation in sports. Ten different sports and movement activities keep things fun and interesting. There’s T-ball, tennis, golf, dynamo, rhythm, basketball, rugby, soccer, athletics and cricket. Small class sizes are offered to make sure there is more one-on-one time and thanks to the availability of indoor facilities, the classes can go ahead all year round, in rain, hail or shine.
Camp Blue ON provides the ideal environment for campers to give a wide variety of experiences a try and to meet new friends and gain independence. The emphasis is on fun, family, friendship and belonging. Participants will face new challenges and establish new relationships plus gain confidence. The ON program provides the opportunity for campers to put aside the competitive demands of sports and school, slow down, open up and really explore. It’s a 3 day/3 night program and runs from the Collaroy Centre on Sydney’s magnificent Northern Beaches. Participants from year 3 right through to year 9 are welcome, with separate programs available for primary and secondary students. The program costs include all accommodation, meals and activities. Activities include rock climbing, art, archery, laser tag, ropes, a giant swing and flying fox, beach games, treasure hunt and more, and the meals are delicious!
Running generally for three days over a holiday period, Teen Camp participants meet each morning in North Sydney and travel to daily destinations, returning by 4.30pm. This program caters for high school students who want to be active, meet new friends and have a blast! Activities include surfing lessons, stand up paddle boarding, snorkelling, bushwalking, hiking, rock climbing, a teen leadership program and the Teen Camp Amazing Race challenge.
