SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTING WORKSHOP INTENSIVE
Point Break Drama Acting School is excited to announce the return of the highly successful School Holiday Acting workshop Intensive, in the September School holidays for kids & Teens.
The workshop is designed to challenge students with new ideas about acting and performance, and give them tastes of different areas. Courses will be designed and catered to those returning to do the holiday course a second time.
Once again the course will be split into two age groups. Kids (7-10yrs) and Teens (11-17yrs). The workshop will take place in the 1st week of the school holidays on Mon 27th, Tues 28th & Wed 29th September, from 11Am - 4pm on each day. The cost of the three days is just $180 the course must be paid in full with application.

The Shakespeare Bash (Teens only)
A crash course in learning the fundamentals of Shakespeare. Students will learn how to analyse text, understand Iambic Pentameter and put into the performance of a Shakespearean monologue. A fun exploration of the Shakespearean process.
Acting / Auditioning for the Camera
An in-depth look at the film/ TV casting process, & how to improve your chances of getting a job. Students will prepare &, rehearse scenes in front of camera. The older group will be expected to offer constructive feedback in the role of a producer choosing their own cast. Scenes will be taken from current TV / film shows.
Drama Sports & Improvisation
Students will be taken through a fun and challenging improvisation and Drama sports workshop, covering an array of skills and high-energy drama sports games. Essential skills for those wanting to get work in commercials.
Advanced Acting Technique
A key part of this workshop will be exposing students to new acting techniques. It’s important to us to keep challenging and offering students a fresh approach to acting. A good actor has an understanding of many techniques and uses what works for them.
