YOUNG FILMMAKERS SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS
Three day intensive workshops every School Holidays.
Workshops are industry based providing practical experience on professional equipment with industry tutors who concentrate on the skills necessary for a career in film, TV and digital media.
Workshops cover filmmaking, producing TV, web and mobile phone content, special effects, stop frame animation and Chroma key editing. Participants receive a Certificate of Completion and a DVD of completed work.
The average workshop fee is $295.
CHANNEL FREE
Channel Free is dedicated to helping at risk youth gain access to film, TV and digital media by partnering with youth agencies and community groups. We provide useful skills to empower young people to tell their stories to the wider community. Participants are mentored by experienced industry professionals and encouraged to explore the possibilities of a career in the industry.
Channel Free is funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations' YouthLinx programme and started in 1990.
